Wells Fargo Discloses Another Data Breach

Here we go again.

One thing I will never understand is why a bank would let an auditor take information out of the institution without having a fully encrypted disk.

This stuff is so simple to fix . . . .

Don't banks realize that they're the perfect target and probably one of the most vulnerable industries out there for identity theft? I don't understand why they don't they start taking some more responsibility for their lack of action? Don't they see that's it's ruining their reputation? As mentioned encryption would be a great tool. In fact, the latest email anti-theft software would be perfect for sending encrypted information to and from auditors without having to worry about data loss....
